Remember the full lockdown that we all experienced last March?
The country may heading for a full lockdown again.
According to a report by Sinar Harian, the government will discuss the possibility of a full Movement Control Order (MCO) a.k.a lockdown during the COVID-19 National Security Council (NSC) Meeting in Putrajaya tomorrow (21 May).
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Parliament and Law), Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said the meeting was expected to be attended by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, state leaders and other officials.
“That is one of the measures that the authorities need to think about, especially the NSC because that is the only option available.
"So far, we have implemented the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and so on either as a whole or targeted," he said.
A full lockdown may very much be a possibility, especially since COVID-19 numbers have been peaking these past few days.
